Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Acura ILX- Video
Today on our 2013 Acura ILX, we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Carrier, part number TH9029. To begin our test fit, we've already gone ahead and removed the 2-inch adapter from our bike rack, so we'll slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 10 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 6 inches. We'll now go ahead and pull the hitch switch at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down where we can the open our trunk. more

Today on our 2013 Acura ILX well be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro folding and title 4-bike rack with anti-sway cradles. This is part number TH934XTR. Now to begin our test fit, well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch after removing the two-inch adapter. We can then line up the hitch pinhole where well install our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down. With the bolt tight, our bike is secured to the vehicle. Now to begin our test fit, well slide the bike rack shank after removing the two-inch adapter into the hitch. We can then line up the hitch pinhole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 9 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is about 5 inches. more

Today on our 2013 Acura ILX well be test fitting the part number S36410. This is the Swagman Titan 4 Bike carrier. Now after removing the two-inch adapter, well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 12 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 10 inches. more

Today on our 2013 Acura ILX well be test fitting the Sportrack Hitch Mounted Bike rack with wheel mount cradles part number A30901. Now to begin our test fit, well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 15 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 9 inches. Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our trunk. more

Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Acura ILX- Video
Today on our 2013 Acura ILX well be test fitting part number PS63134. This is the Pro Series Q-Slot Platform style bike carrier. Now all well need to do is slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install our hitch pin. We can then put the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 14 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 10 inches. more

Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Acura ILX- Video
Today on our 2013 Acura ILX well be test fitting the Kuat Sherpa Aluminum Hitch Mounted 2 Bike Rack part number S102. To begin our test fit well remove the two-inch adapter from the bike rack shank. We can then slide the shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install our hitch pin. Well then move to the back of the shank where well tighten the knob down securing the bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 10 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is three inches. more
